I think anybody that I and any body else that did go would be glad that you didn't attend. You sound like one boring mofo.

.

Anyway, was a good weekend all in all. Attended Clocaenog, Dyfi West, Myherin and Crychan. All four stages were good, was particularly good seeing the National B's too. Had some good fun driving between stages particularly on Sat night trying to get to Builth Wells.

Car needs a bloody good clean outside and in now,and i'm not sure how long that bonfire smell will take to go.

No need to be so bloody rude. You don't know me, and i don't think I want to know YOU either tbqh.

Am I not allowed to give my views on a public forum all of a sudden?

I'm very passionate about motorsport, and without wishing to repeat myself in length, I am very saddened by the demise of the WRC.

I don't know how old you are, but I can assure you that it was great deal more entertaininhg and fun than it is now.

So pleased you enjoyed youself anyway

BTW, I think my friends would agree that I'm not a boring mofo, whatever a mofo is,or boring in any way, or is that some sort of txt tlk?

You, Mr Ree are a hypocrit. You complain that ADO is rude, but previously posted thus:

I leave you and your fellow followers to carry on participating and bowing to the 'big wigs' that obviously know best

If you don't like the way things are I presume your Club, (Which is?) are attending their Regional Association and putting pressure on to get things changed? From my rare attendance at WAMC meetings and looking at the lack of attendance there, I somehow doubt that! Don't forget that the MSA are restricted in running this Rally by the FIA, so how would they run the event "like it used to be" under the current FIA Rules?

You may not like the WRGB, but obviously thousands do. Just look at the numbers attending The Great Orme stage, or the stages in Mid and South Wales. I believe the advanced sales figures overall exceeded the expected figures by 300%. Are they all wrong?

The WRGB may not be the event for you, but just because others do enjoy it is there no need to be derogatory about them.

I'll look out for you on the Cambrian, You have my call sign.

Oh dear, you're all absolutely right :x It's no good going on about the "good old days", just remember them fondly and let the current lot on with what they are doing.

Yes, years ago there was a different attitude and lighter regulatory touches, but time moves on and society changes, not always for the better.

I can remember setting out stages and running around the Forest of Dean with my kids in the dark with torches, fighting off Russel Brookes with my Marina TC Coupe in a dash to get onto the M4 etc, etc, etc

But that's all gone. Today's society wants everything on a plate, asap, regulations/claims/political coerrectness/ - the list goes on.

I'm old, but I just work round "obstacles", hopefully using my experience to help me to get things achieved.

WRGB is all about money, and the Wales Government recognises this, as does Scotland. I wouldn't be surprised if the format doesn't return back to the S/Mid Wales areas again to recoup some of the income alledgely lost this year in a strung out event. Fuel/travel costs/ accomodation cost, works team costs are all huge - far removed from years ago.

I hope to enjoy what time I have left looking forward, not backwards.

Yeah yeah yeah, in my day and all that. Listen Uncle Albert, I'm not as old as you but there's stuff that I see now that just doesn't seem as good as it was when I was younger. Like play parks, ice creams and Sesame Street. It's not that they've got worse, it's just that I've got older. Maybe thats whats happened to you???

Yes of course you can give your views wherever you want, I don't care, just don't get your y fronts twisted if someone has something to say about it

Please don't repeat yourself in length, we all get it. Everything crap now, but was brilliant when you were younger.

As for being boring, you said it yourself. Public forum, opinions etc.

Anyway, thanks for highjacking my post with your "it's not how it used to be" drivel.

PS. MOFO means mother funker but with a C not an N

And YOU Mr Lanigraham, obviously cannot see the difference between my sarcasm and that ado's downright disgusting and vile primary school childish playground personal insults that were directed at me.

If you wish to condone such 'brave' keyboard warrior behaviur and language, then you carry on.

Such a shame, as as much as i may have dis-agreed with some of your comments, I thought you were at least intelligent enough not to support such venomomous bile.

As for highjacking his precious thread, i don't think I was actually alone there.

All releveant to the subject though I'd have thought.

I shall leave you both to applaud each other in managing to alianate me against you both just because i DARED to expree MY opinion/s.

Apologies....TO YOU for obviously going against your beliefs on this matter.I always said that you are as entitled to your opinions as much as I am to mine.

I shall bother YOU no further.

The 'other one' I will treat with the utter contempt that he deserves. :finger:

I'm sure he'll be as heartbroken by that, as much as I will be by ignoring him and his bile filled mouth. :heartbreak::rofl:

Edited by Mr Ree

Unfortunately sarcasm does not work well in the written word on a Forum. It might have helped if you had used a smiley, but anyway, Thank you, Mr Ree, and happy 46th in April.

Please come and say hello if you are ever in Hafren. You can't miss me, I'll be in a Yeti.
