I heard Warwick, but was leaving it to the new owner of the car to make the announcement when he got chance.

After I started this thread: http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/206580-standard-injector-only-good-for-230-bhp/page__st__60__p__2447143__hl__230__fromsearch__1#entry2447143

There was a lot of debate with the "experts" saying it's not possible. (230, not 220)

I was hoping that the results will at some stage find their way there, so they can all then claim that the Shark rolling road is a load of tosh, even though up to date many have said it's probably the most accurate in the country. :giggle:

Fact is: It's possible.

I dyno'd it, and I'm very surprised..

To be honest, after the discussion about injecting times and such on a thread where a lot of helpful info was posted by Shark performance I started to wonder how Jabbasport had done it.

They did build me a great car, with power and good drivability, but when Kevin never came back to that thread with the injection figures I was a little concerned.

But it's very nice to see a Jabbasport Stage 3 set up being tested by an independent company that is known for the accuracy of it's rolling road.

The fact that it made about 98% of it's claimed power (that most people claimed was impossible) says a lot in my view.

Although I'm sure people will now wonder how Jabbasport do it...

Bet it smoked a bit on the dyno though. I know mine does when I use that last bit of power.

I hope not, I was ironically proud of being the smokiest car Ben had ever seen on a dyno....

No idea, I've never seen Luke's car. It got some pretty blue language out of Ben's mouth though. There's a small clip of it on one of the Shark Performance videos on YouTube from their open day August open day, you can't see the car but it's the one with all the black soot pouring out of the dyno room. I videoed it as well but not sure whether I ever uploaded it.

Didn't you claim it was impossible?

We said it was theoretically impossible using safe SOI and duration, and said how we came to that conclusion with the values used. We opened it up for a response telling us different and didn't get an answer.
