FAO All the experts who claim cant get over 220 bhp on standard nozzles..

Wow it's gone further downhill now lol.

All I'll say is:

. The difference between a seat sport twinpass and a pro alloy single pass is probably 1-2bhp. Full stop.

. The difference in ASZ/BLT engines is the EGR systems, and the map is slightly different. Full stop.

Food for thought: IMG_1048.jpg

Also, how smokey is it? Is it Gavinchappel smokey?

Here's when it ran on our rollers in 2009..

Its because the WHP graph is way more accurate than it should be, showing also wheel inbalance and other non-relevant things. Its filtered to half (I think it was half, but thereabouts) of resolution, no "correction figures" applied there.

Check out graphs from Maha, Dynocom, Mustang, Land&Sea, TAT, and actually, just about every dyno manufacturer I can think of, and you can see every manufacturer uses their own level of filtration of the curve.

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks.

If it was me, I'd filter the wheel HP if I could rather than just the flywheel-corrected, using something like a Kalman filter algorithm, but maybe that's why I work with track forming and not engines?

At least you put mine back together first. ;)

And the injectors are different

And the injectors are different

Really? First time I've heard that

And the injectors are different

They aint.

I had a jabba 130 golf in years ago, that smoked very very badly. Dyno'd at 237 hp if I remember. They had adjusted the SOI by 40%. It used to produce a strange colour smoke under any kind of load :S

I fitted some larger nozzles, along side a tubular manifold, hybrid vnt 20,pwr barrel charge cooler, cam and water injection :)

Big Jase on here owned it for a while.

They aint.

To be picky the injectors are the same however the nozzles are smaller. This is seen in the duration maps.

:)

They aint.

yes they are!

Smaller plungers in the injectors!

This applies to both the BLT pd130 and BUK pd160 both EU4 emissions based engines. ASZ / BPX and ARL share injectors all EU3

As pointed out by FabokaVRS look at the durations.
