Hello! I have just registered on this Skoda forum because last night my driver's door would not lock...I have never had the problem before and it was fine earlier in the day. I own a S Reg Skoda Felicia and it doesn't have central locking. I put the key in the lock and turned it but instead of locking the car it just continued turning round and would not do anything. I then attempted to push the button inside the door down but this would not press down either. Does anybody have any ideas?? Maybe the lock is just broken and I will have to take it to be fixed!! :(

It sounds like the lock barrel end spindle has broken.

When you put the key in the lock there is like a spindle that extends from the key barrel to the door lock, They snap off after a period of time (Common fault)

Easy to replace lock, you will need a star driver to release the screw that holds the barrel in the door.
