Why in what context ??

The steam equivelant thing is supposed to be a PITA and the game is full of bugs and glitches?

Mw3 is out next week so I would imagine that most will be playing that next week, good game though.

It's not to bad for a first attempt at a steam type thing, I ain't had no problems with it

I do get the odd crash when loading but other than that it seems for me

Show me a pc game that is perfect out the box these days

It is indeed, I gotta feeling it's gonna lame though, BO was a bit flat for my liking

Have you been watching all the videos about what they have changed?

Looks like they have made some decent changes.

Brilliant game, I play on PC. :D Not had any problems as yet.

lol MW3 poops all over battlefield 3

Guys. This isn't a "OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG MW3 PWNZ BATTLEGAY!!!!!!!!1111twleve" thread. Take it elsewhere, please. It's not even out yet. They're two very different games. CoD has always been geared towards the console, where as BF has been geared towards the PC, with (sadly) some concessions towards consoles in the latest one (such as the lack of commander).

Back on topic....

Origin works fine, not as polished as Steam, but no problems here. Game is beautiful, runs brilliantly on my modest rig, and since sorting out some issues with my PC, I've had zero problems with it (during the beta, BF3 exposed a RAM issue with my PC since it quite heavily loads RAM, replaced a duff stick, all ok now!). Battlefacebook is a little clunky to start, but it works well now.

name ....???

I'll add you and you can watch me crash the planes all night lol

There is room for both games, MW2 is an arcadey twitch fest and often good fun, BF3 is slightly more grown up but also good fun. :D

tag is same as forum "chronicbint" :thumbup:

COD = console n00b game...

BF = PC game

unsuprisingly im Neo_VR on BF3 PC.

Not got it myself, had to update my CoD WaW 7 patches when I bought it and even then I can't get the singleplayer to work. Bad Company 2 I can't get to work at all. First time I'd bought games in an absolute age (other than Test Drive Unlimited 2) and tbh what a disappointment! Selling the PC I think, can't be doing with it for too long now.

Drastic problem with your PC then!

Halo wins fir first person! I think battle field is more serious than cod, mw3 isn't out yet but from the reviews it looks like it's going to be amazing, but infinity ward have to do it right this time, if they mess the multiplayer like they did for the first month of black ops its good by cod!

I never "got" Halo. It was just another boring alien shooter. Whereas I love GoW... I guess the plot of Halo didn't grab me?

I followed it from the start, I can see why people wouldn't enjoy as much, it helped that I was phenomenal at it! Gears of war is brill!

for those that have Battlefield 3 on pc what is it that ORIGIN is doing that has people complaining about their privacy?

No idea

Maybe it's letting the world know my username ...possibly lol

People always complain about things like this. They're pretty standard EULA terms. But teh intarwebs has gone all "OMGZZZZ EA R SPIIING ON UZ NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!11111111fortyfive"

Bought it to try it. ( was also in the beta which was horrible, even for a beta )

It "looks" nice , although it is basically just BFBC2.5

I had some hopes for it, but apart from a few shiny baubles, it leaves me feeling bored.

I can get past the issues at release. I had no issues although countless others had ORIGIN jip etc. As Mr Fatty said - most games have a shaky release.

It does have some great features, especially the squad control side of things. As long as people work as a team, which is few and far between for me so far. But then that is rare playing on public servers with kids.

As for it being a true PC game - NO SDK, No real server control ala BFBC2 leaves it feeling a little , dare I say , console to me.

Cant see me investing any time in it I'm afraid.
