Yes, I was going to make a track car out of it but it's not really the ideal car for track work. I feel I will be better off with something much less practical ;-)

The Jetex system is about as loud as the stock system.

leave it as is and fit some good coilovers

strip it out and track it you will have loads of fun and still beat alot of cars..

remeber track days are about fun not winning a race :-)

if you break the whole car you will make more than your sale price easily :-)

It doesn't take them long! My biggest worry with breaking the car is that a few vRS's have been broken lately. Maybe if the weather is good over the weekend I'm break out the spanners.

How much of the car is likely to sell in bits? I put a quick list together, have I missed, over/under priced anything important?

1.8T engines go for a bit more than 200

450 for a 2nd user FMIC will be a hard one to sell

calipers and carriers for the front you may get up to 150

seats 150+

if the tyres are good then 17 Spiders 200+

wheel and airbag 80+

Boot should be 50+ as it comes with glass and wiper motor etc

Billy has broken one recently so might be good to PM him

price a bit higher to allow for a bit of movement

fmic will sell as its pretty much brand new with limited miles £400 it will sell

also things like bumper front £60

strip the doors down worth more motor locks glass etc etc

in bits you should see £ 3k+ but you also have the pain of breaking it and people wanting things for nothing and posting etc etc not as easy as you think imo

when i broke mine i was lucky that at the time it was one of only a few being broken hence it al sold well for good money!!! but as of late i know of 3 or 4 that have been broken on here and currently 2 or 3 still so things wont sell for as much and will hang around for longer
