ipod/ iphone compatibility with HU

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've read on here several times that fitting a kit to get the Symphony HU to work with am ipod/iphone will render the CD changer (where fitted) useless. I've just had This fitted and I can switch between ipod and cd changer at the flik of a button. It charges my iphone too. The Downside? It's nearly 80 quid.

You can also add a bluetooth module if you want so you dont actually have to connect up your phone. I am in no way connected to the seller of this product.

On another note it was fitted by resident Skoda Mastertech (Tech1e) . I had Cruise control fitted too. He certainly knows his Skoda's and prices are reasonable too. Higly reccomend if you want this sort of work doing.

Edit this probably should have gone in the ICE, Security and Insurance Section

Had one of these in for just over two years now. Bit temperamental at times, but great piece of kit.

Only downside is that you need the bluetooth module to route calls or anything handset based (Voicemail / Siri on the 4s) to the car speakers.
