OEM Skoda springs and Koni FSD dampers is what I have......std ride height but firmer and less roll around the corners.....but with the advantages of full compression if you hit a pothole! B)

Nice wheel choice mate and the new tyres are much better.

ps. why the vrs badge?

Simple Answer, Always wanted a VRS but can't afford one and the VRS badge is better that the comfort badge, plus I will over the next 6 - 10 months make mine the same or better spec than the current 1.4 TSI VRS :giggle:

How do you plan to do that? Increasing your power and performance by that much will not be cheap.

I imagine that if you can't afford a vrs then how will you afford the insurance on a car once declaring mods after you have made it 'the same or better spec than the current 1.4 TSI VRS'????

Well I don't plan to do it all at once the Plan is to have it done by about August next year. So I plan to have a remap. Induction kit. And I have a mate who works for VW so maybe fit some sort of turbo or supercharger if it can be done that is. But at least this way I can take my time and do things as I go. and I work in a restaurant so save all my tips and do it out of that.

Good luck at insuring that if you can't afford a vrs! I don't mean to put a damper on things cos the cars looks smart. If it was me I'd personally be saving my money and not spending it on mod'ing a 1.2 then take the plunge that you want into a vrs :)

A remap on your car would be very minimal and there's no turbo to adjust. Although if I'm wrong and you know differently I'll hold my hands up and be corrected :)

But anyway- alloys look the nuts :)

He has a 1.4, but principle applies yes. :)

Will need some form of turbo conversion to achieve around 200hp, thats for sure.

My wheels (I mean your wheels ;)) look smart now they have the right rubber.

Sorry when I say I can't afford a VRS I mean to buy I had to replace my old car due to it needing £2000 worth of repairs so I spent it on the fabia instead. But the insurance shouldn't be to bad I mean mine at the moment is only £800 for the year and hoping it should drop again next month

And thanks devonutopia I agree the wheels look good now

Get some vRS bumpers :)

Loose the vrs badges on the wing mate. Be proud of what it is without makin it somethin its not
