Head units that fit 2006 vRS

Featured Replies

Hi,

My CD player has died so am on lookout for new head unit. Question is, which models will fit/work in my vehicle? Don't have maxidot (if that matters?) and car is 56 plate 2007 registered vRS Tdi. At work at mo and cannot remember head unit model I have - doh! I have seen a couple of 'stream' models for around £100 but they look slighlty different to mine as mine has 'fm' button next to'cd' button.

these will fit

BOLERO

columbus

ZENEC ZE-NC2010

Cheers. I do have 'Stream mp3' model. Don't really want to pay £500-£800 for the Columbus/Bolero and there are not many 'Stream' models out there, and what there are are costing £100+.

Did you want a standard stereo or something uprated?

Am just after straight replacement for cost reasons really.

Is £200 within budget :)?

For what exactly? Found out today that my Skoda extended warranty (RAC) should cover the repair of mine but may be tempted to an upgrade if it doesn't break the bank and I get something nice ;)

I have been wondering the same thing. Furthermore, could someone clarify the difference between the Bolero & Columbus?

Bolero does not have navigation. Columbus does.
