It's not really up for sale... but the spec is in the thread about my car(s), which you get if you click on the blue writing that's underlined in my sig.

Thanks for the comments all.

And National's rather amusing post. :giggle:

The VRS is not due for it's first MOT until March, so I'm thinking to pack it away for the winter and bring it out when the MOT is due.

Any (helpful) suggestions about laying a car up for five months would be handy. :)

At least keeping it packed away over the winters will keep it in good condition.

Thanks for taking it in the spirit it was intended :-)

I think the best thing for a car is to keep it running, so IF you need someone to give it a good blast once a week,

I could accomodate you up here in Scotland away from all those busy roads, and acid rain etc, I would even go so far as paying half of the diesel costs

Can I ask how a car as rare as hens teeth was not sold until 2009

I could not find one in 2007 the dealers phoned around the dealers and none available all sold, then got one, through my Scottish dealer from a dealer in Hudderfiled who had a no show due to redundancy

It was in the showroom as a display model, so it didn't get sold when the others did.

Possibly they were waiting for it to be one of the last ones so they could bump the price up a bit?

My guess is it then was the old model and kind of got forgotten about, possibly getting parked out of the way in a corner of the garage when they wanted a showroom of current model Skodas.

Either way it is a bit odd as if people had known about it it would have sold quite easily.

I've never seen another 09 plate mkI Fabia.
