White 2007 Octavia - Many made?

Featured Replies

I've found this car, it's priced a bit high for me at the moment but I've not seen many White ones? Were they common on the Mk2 (Non Face lift)?

Also I noticed the Wheels and Exhaust aren't standard, but he said they were options when the car was new but I'm not sure that's the case so can anyone confirm? This wasn't a Rally special or something was it? I know they did the Mk1 VRS in White with a special edition but not seen a Mk2 like this before.

Is this not one of the two that were prepared for Simsons Skoda in Preston by ADS ltd?

As I recall it had CAI, Miltek exhaust and a Stage 2 Revo Map

Thanks for the reply, how would I find out? The dealer thinks they were just options supplied from new.

White is indeed a rare colour on the pre-FL Mk II.

I've just bought a 2007 vRS but in Race Blue, white was the only other colour I would have considered but in the 6 or so months I've been looking I only saw one or two come up for sale.

Back in 2007 white hadn't quite caught on as the 'latest fad'.

As white and red are solid no-cost options I found when hunting for my vRS that most of them in these colours were bog standard with few or no additional options as I assume the original owner was keen to keep the purchase price down.

This makes the white pre-FL much more appealing in my eyes because they really are so few of them. If you can find a well specced one (xenon's, rear parking sensors, auto lights/wipers etc.) you'll be doing better than me!

The facelift on the other hand is a different story, there are tons of white ones, common as muck now :giggle:

God help whoever buys that . I once owned an all white Manta GTE with the white wheels , it looked brilliant when clean but keeping it that way was MEGA hard work , dead bugs and brake dust were the bane of my life , i cleaned and polished that car more than all my others put together , never again will i look at a white car in the same way .

I have a race blue TDi in the for sale section, lower miles than this. :)

looking for more than 8k though, but open to offers

not loads made no i did see one with most boxes ticked was a 58 plate front and rear PDC, sat nav, xenons and a petrol was sorely tempted only the Mrs said white is a bit "Essex stiletto, look at me with my tiny tadger" i found that quite offensive so got the blue one lol i really liked it though.

I remember seeing one of the cars in Simpsons, but it also had a big graphic on it. I am sure that they said that the white was not a stock colour that was available at the time, and that they had done some sort of special order.
