It's a couple of hours drive for me to get there, what do you guys get up to in the lead up to our fun on the track? The other half is coming down with me and I don't want her to get too bored ;)

If anyone is travelling from Northampton/Oxford way do they fancy a convoy down to Combe? Having never been to Combe before im bound to get lost without some guidence... :)

I'll be travelling round Coventry and cross country from there A452 IIRC then A46 happy to meet you somwhere en route. It's a great drive cross country.

if the car is finished i will be there if i can get track time on the day i will if not i will just drive it hard there and back lol

It soon went in the weekend! :D £20 on the cider & cheese, and various lots of £10 - £15 on weston pier, meals out, etc :D

don't be ridiculous. You get yetis and roomsters going round. A bit of a cliche but it is actually about taking part and not the winning. Who cares what car you have as long as its fun. The VRS' aren't that quick anyway so don't worry.

There are no better novice days anywhwere.

Go to a regular track day "novice day" and you'll have a few Porkers, BMW M cars and Caterhams on the circuit.

I did a Novice Day at Brands Hatch, some guy in a Fiesta ST was there. He spent the whole time getting overtaken and staying off the racing line due to the sheer number of high performance cars whose novice drivers wanted to try them out. There was even a highly tuned Evo and a Noble on my day! :rofl:

    In the wet last year, the 4x4 Yeti's very much held their own whilst at least 2 fabia's took trips onto the infield.

    Come along, join the clubstand at the very least and get a feel for what its all about.

    You probably held your own in your GTR though I assume.

    Actually I was in my VRS... and the only people to overtake me all day were the Noble and the tuned Evo. :)

    Not sure if it was because I was fast... or the rest were trying to avoid the smoke. :giggle:
