IIRC it's about a tenner. Track day helmets can be had for about £60 if you plan on doing a few more days it might be worth investing.

I won't be driving much harder than I would on a B road blast anyway. I'm certainly not going to driving like the next Senna. Anyone got a track layout or video of Castle Combe to get a feel for it, braking points etc. I'd like to be prepared

I've watched a couple of this chaps vids and he has pretty good lines for Combe (and a damn quick 1.4 Arosa)

Not a problem, as long as you appreciate quite a few will be newbies and are likely to be highly worried by peope with more track experience who might adopt slightly more aggressive lines/stance behind/overtaking, etc.
