advice please

Featured Replies

hi guys i'm normally browsing the octavia forum but I'm after some fabia advice, I'm looking to buy a fabia and have seen a 1.4 ambiente at a dealer. The dealer wants £3100 for the car, it's a 54 plate with 50k on the clock with service history and is in excellent condition. The dealer will also throw in a years tax and a years MOT, only downside so far is it needs 2 new front tyres. Could you please advise me if it's a good deal or whether its worth keep looking for a better car. Thanks

Surely the dealer is required to replace the tires if they need replacing. Surely ou could factor it in to the deal ?

Depends on how low or legal they are and what's left in the deal for profit.

If the tyres fail on the MOT they will have to replace them.

The tyres are legal but only have 2mm of tread so think I'll replace them if I buy the car, Tried to get new front rubber as part of the deal but the dealer wont budge :-/

Walk away!! For the sake of £120 for 2 tires i bet my house that he phones you ;)
