Ok It's about time we had a meet in the Essex area, so who would be up for this.

I am looking in the Colchester or Chelmford region to begin with as it's central so any ideas on where would be nice. also who is up for it?

It's in Kelvedon Hatch - up near the M25/Brentwood, as opposed to the Kelvedon near Colchester :(

well, the bunker is by deepest Ongar. (theres also paintball next door).

I hesitate to suggest this as I'm not that fond of the place but what about Freeport in Braintree. It's between Colchester and Chelmsford and it's signposted really well. Could meet in the carpark, if people have brought SWMBOs then there's some (expensive) shopping to be had. There's the usual suspects for food as well as a cinema and ten-pin bowling.

Not a great fan of freeport, but somewhere around the Notleys might be possible...

Well as much as I'm not a fan of Freeport, it's the place that a lot of people know so how about meeting there and going somewhere else after. say at 12pm in the far end of the car park so that there are enough spaces? so who's up for it?

Could always meet at Freeport then take a drive out into the countryside,are some lovely roads within a 10-15min drive from freeport.
