I've taken great care with this car, it is always driven conservatively and only ever driven briskly once warmed up and is always allowed plenty of time to cool down.

The setup is intended for longevity and reliability, so whilst the figures are not through the roof, you have a very driveable and responsive car here; which

is very capable and will easily return 600+ miles per tank of fuel. I specifically requested that power and torque outputs were well within the capabilities of

engine components such as the clutch and turbo, which is exactly what was delivered.

Hopefully the photos do it justice, whilst it looks pretty standard (I prefer the subtle approach) the way it drives is rather different; certainly more power and torque, but very refined in it's delivery.

I spend considerable time washing, claying, polishing and waxing it twice a year; after which it is washed weekly (at least) and topped up with a layer of Collinite regularly.

Bad bits? Well, there are a few inevitable stone chips and the driver's and passenger's seats show some wear, but are still in very good condition.

This really is a great car and is (in my mind) complete as it is. Each modification has genuinely improved the car, for example the brakes, whilst retaining

the OEM appearance. It sails through MOTs each year too, which is nice.

So, the photos:

If anyone has any photo requests regarding the vehicle, let me know and I'll endeavour to get some more up for you.

The car is at a DL7 postcode and can be viewed anytime, though preferably between Monday and Friday. PM me to arrange it.

A few people on here have seen the car, most recently at Shark Performance's Rolling Road Day in September this year, and I'm sure they'll confirm the condition of it.

I'd like to keep the thread clutter free, so if you have any queries please PM me.

Right, the price. Based on what I've recently seen on Autotrader and on here, and taking into account the condition of the car I'm asking for

OFFERS AROUND £5250 VIA PM

Bump.

If anyone has a genuine, sensible offer, PM me with it and I'll consider it.

What headlight bulbs are they on the car? Are they quite xenony/bluey?

  • Author

The bulbs are direct fit upgrades with xenon gas. The light they give off, despite their blue appearance, is bright and clear.

They're a definite improvement on standard bulbs but not the chavvy blue you see on some cars.

Ok, Thanks, sorry to interrupt the thread

Best of luck with the sale. The parts fitted, done professionally by Shark Performance certainly makes it a great buy emoticon-0148-yes.gif

What have you replaced her with?

Can I just say, I've know clarky for a good few years now, in fact, it was after having a go of my old fabia vrs that he decided to buy this one. The turbo is always left to heat up before driving properly and left to cool down accordingly. It is a well cared for car, and cared fpr by an excellent technician who has a good grasp of how things should and do work. A belting little motor for someone who wants a properly upgraded car! Hope it gets a home which cares for it as much as C has

Buying the car and taking parts off it is always an option if someone has the time and means to do so.

Seems such a shame when it's such a complete motor. Depends how long you can wait for the right buyer really :)

  • Author

I agree Wardy, in my view it is a complete car as it is. That said, I'll sell it to whoever has the funds really.

  • Author

Price reduced now folks.

Offers considered via PM.
