the picture cleary shows a 1.8T 20v VW unit. suspected to be 225 as the intake manifold goes to the left on the 180hp k03 version.;)

it is not a renault/volvo 1.4/1.7 8v turbo lump.

Like it

Christ on a bike!

Suprised the engine actually remains bolted to the car with that much oomphf! Top class.

The rolling road figures look okay

Bet it can't stop at the end of the runway :D

It's probably got standard brakes so if its behind you just keep braking violently......the brake fade will kill his ability to overtake you......

I assume you drive a 1.4 MPI ? :rofl::rofl::rofl:

It's ability not the power!!:cool:

This car has made many appearances on forums as alot of people thought he was having a laugh until it left them behind. A mate from a peugeot sports club said it is also running NOS or is that another identical car. Very rapid indeed.

figs look about right for a k04 lump with fmic... if its on std brakes he wont live very long.

specs are....

audi tt 225bhp engine

it has clio 172 brakes that are uprated

it started life as a clio 1.2 extreeme

then it had a 172 engine transplant with nos was very rapid

now with the 285 bhp tt engine in it, it really flies the lad is called mat he used to also have a mk1 v6 clio with 100shot nos till it blew up :)

Thought there was a video clip of this somewhere.Must have a mooch

The only option left is called a Sidewinder

It's a heat seeking Missile and will lock onto the exhaust signature fairly quickly..........:thumbup::cool::rofl:

"Weapons Locked and Loaded......Permission To Fire?"

was this the one that was stripped out with a 172 engine in?... it was running on the std 1.2 brakes at the time iirc?

f00kin loon bet it understeers like a biyach, weight of the block must have upset the handling big time

aparantly it handles well :)

i hosted the vids a while back

The pretty much changed suspension will have a large deal to do with that I'd imagine ;)

Still looks sh!t

that is just silly. its what used to be called a street sleeper in t'old days. my bro used to have a mk1 escort with a 300 horse rover v8 in it. the 1100GL badges on the front wings really set it off!
