Washbottle leaks

Featured Replies

Got a leak from my washbottle ( drips of wash fluid at front of NS inner wing cover) .Are there any common places (ie motor joins etc) or is it new bottle time ?Both front & rear washers work ok and leak is not too bad -about half a cup overnight on flat , but rather less when parked with NS on pavement and car at angle .

It will be leaking from the rubber grommet where the washer pump pushes into. Probably just needs pushing in again.

to be honest mate ive got a 5lt bottle and pump for sale if youre interested. Pm me if you need one.

Thanks -will have a look and see if it's the pump/washer .

It'll be the little two way valve on the side of the pump. Mine started leaking in the same way a few years ago and it was this. Fixed with some windscreen sealant and has been fine ever since but I bought a replacement pump for a few quid just in case.
