Finally got it!

Featured Replies

Finally picked my vRS up on Tuesday night after a 6 month wait.

Spec:

-Candy white

-Black roof

-Black Alloys

-Sat Nav

-Bluetooth

-Multi funct wheel

-Climate Control

-Heated Seats

-Electric rear windows

-Cruise Control

-Armrest

-Skoda Floor mats

First impressions; fantastic, good quality finish, not rattles yet, except once over really bad road, Armundsen is brilliant at integrating stereo, bluetooth etc... Stereo sound better than expected, headlights better than expected, however just sliced my fingers putting in Osram Nightbreaker plus, wait and see if there's much of an improvement.

Plan to clay, machine polish, and seal at the weekend so will put up pictures then

Anyone getting fed up waiting, hold on in there so far its been worth the wait

Well done why osrams over Philips extreme ??

Cant wait to see the pics, great spec by the way :D

Still waiting on mine :( , but I only ordered mine at the start of Oct.

Surprised given the list of extras you have that you didn't get them to do the paint protection as well.

with regards to bulbs, after extensive reading, i decided not much between them. Brother in law in trade suggested Phillips were better for a longer life but would take him a couple of weeks to get, while he had a set of osrams. Waited 6 months for car and couldn't wait any longer. Will try the Phillips next time

Still waiting on mine :( , but I only ordered mine mid Oct.

I'm a bit OCD with other people cleaning my car, always disappointed when a dealer does it.

Always struggle with pictures on this site, so follow the link to see pictures and the cleaning process I went through todayPictures

Nice spec, hope you enjoy it ... but some comments on your cleaning... if the car is brand new you really don't need to clay at all and a machine polish wouldn't really be needed, unless the dealer has inhibited some nasty swirls. I would personally just perform some isolated swirl treatment and then seal with a nice wax with great longevity. I'm using AG HD Wax at the moment and love it

Thanks for your comments, but from what came off with the clay, it was definately needed. The polish was used with a finishing pad so very limited cut, but the gloss and shine was a definate improvement. After significant research, I came to the view that wax is great on darker colours, I use R222 Concurs wax on my black mazda 5. but on a white car a sealent is better as it tends to give a more clinical sharpness suited to white which gives less reflection compared to say black, which I always give a layer of wax after a sealent (which often seems to last longer than wax)... but each to their own, thanks again for taking the time to view

You're welcome, seems the clay was certainly worth it, and you certainly seem to have more experience with it than me! After owning a 2004 black magic Furby VRS I have sort of adapted my kit bag to work with dark cars... haha.

Lovely car though in white, looks great after your detailing :)

thanks, as you have a black car i really recommend r222, it doesn't last that long but the finish is amazing. Of all the products i've used, i've been impressed with that the most
