As per title - what does the rear wiper function in MFD do?

It's under Lights and Vision (in Superb)? Have checked the manual but doesn't help much

It's either:

- one rear wipe when reverse is engaged if front wipers are on

- rear wiper comes on intermittant every 6 seconds if front wipers are on full

Haven't got my car yet so can't tell you which.

It's enabled but haven't got any rain to warrant front wipers being on.

Was not the top one on my car, they only way I was able to turn that off, was with VCDS

The front wipers need to be going all the time for at least 2 mins IIRC for the rear wiper to do it's single sweep automatically

Ok well in that case it's this one:

This function may or will not work properly when you have the wiper on AUTO.

Because the wiper may be wiping but not on full.
