I bought V-maxx gewinde about a year and half ago, it says it is lowering by 65mm, and by eye, it is...but on 17 inch wheels it is still to damn high. How to go lower, I see some of you had their gewinde moded, and I would like to know how do you do that ? What have you changed on your gewinde. Is it possible to go low so the rim is about 1 cm from edge of sidewings ?

How much Hicon GT is lowering for real ? Does anyone have Lowtec's on his Fabia ?

I had vmaxx and trust me it was low enough

I must have had an inch of thread left on the front

On the rear you remove the adjusters and run the spring only.....

My MPi on Spax RSX, about and inch or so left. Springs, cups and adjusters in the back.

either change to polo top mounts or get some new springs. same trouble with my joms.

been recommended these but not got round to ringing them yet.

I bought v-maxxes (for an ibiza, same thou!?) too, fitting it next year, cause of the snow amount here in Finland. The question is; if i drop the hole s*** all the way down, do i have to take the bumpstops out and how about the helping springs ? I want it low, but not bouncy.

Never take the bump stops out the ride will go very hard and bouncy mate just take the helpers out and adjust to how low you want it

My friend cut about 2cm out of his bumpstop to get it lower, not a fabia though.

Yeah cutting is ok just don't take them out mine split so took them off went down the road on boost hit a little bump and it sent me on the other side of the road good job nothing was going
