Your keys weren't in your pocket were they? Holding the unlock button will open all windows.

yes I did,so that explains that thanks it was really bugging me not knowing what it was

Keep an eye on it though, my above suggestion is the simplest but equally there have been posts of the same elk on here where people have been adamant that the keys were safely out of reach.

will thanks again

A couple days ago I was lunching with my 6 year old when the trunk poped up ( have springs to do this)

I was like WTF, then :giggle::giggle: Had the key in my pocket along with some change, enough to press the trunk release button.

Been there, done that - a couple of times, blooming nuisance really. Any way of programming it out??

Mine did it a couple of times. Through the night once and I hang keys up so I know where they are.

Both times happened close together and never again.

I wondered if water had gotten into some sensor. I read somewhere here they car will open the windows if it thinks it has been submerged.

This has happened twice with me, once when the car was parked up with engine running, all windows went down and second time opened the car usual way and all the windows came down ( didn't keep my finger on the fob either).

I would have thought by the time it got to that point, the electrics would have shorted and failed.....

This happened to me with my mazda 3 sport a couple of times. Just hope it doesnt happen when ur locking the front door to your house before retiring for the night and get up to a soaked through car :(
