eBay fuel rails

Featured Replies

Been stripping parts off the car today to go to the blisters and be coated but one of the things I really like is the polished fuel rails.

Couple of questions though, are they better for higher performance as well as looking good and are they any good for 100 quid ?

Just bought a Samco kit, forge dv and coil pack hold down kit and thought this might look good and help delivery for the upcoming mapping

Cheers in advance

A fuel rail is a fuel rail... they operate at a fixed pressure so theres no gain to be had unless you end up running massive injectors in which case a dual-feed rail might help.

Not sure that it is a duel rail. Thought it would Be a good way to make the engine bay look good but don't want to start having problems just making it look good

Some people go for the larger capacity fuel rails, and a bigger pump when pushing massive amounts of power. Keeps the fuel pressure constant. However, for an engine with a standard turbo, or even a smallish 'big' turbo, I would have expected the standard one to be OK.

No harm in it for looks though B)
