So I've got someone with vcds to sort me out, but not sure what to get coded.

So far i know i want

2nd fog

Emergency braking warning

Follow home lights

What else can I get activated?

The car is a mk2 octy elegance

Cornering lights (via fogs)?

Some people have also changed the country to "australia" in order to have a MPH display on the maxidot instead of KPH.

Personally I would not have the second fog light activated. If the fog is a "single" lamp then its better differentiated vs. your brake lights.

Ment to say, it's a pre F/L & the car doesnt have maxidot.

Is cornering lights one that's avaliable on the pre F/L? I like this idea.

yes I enabled cornering fogs on my late 2008 pre FL Octy. It had maxidot but I don't think that was necessary to enable the cornering.

As your a cabbie like me, the first thing I did was to switch off the bloody seatbelt chime! :giggle:

I also, deactivated the anti hijack, as I found it a pain in the rear, as having to manually press the open button on the centre console each time a passenger wanted to get out. I know that if you pull the handle a couple of times, the door will open......

Apparently you can set the windows to close if it starts raining.....

Only if you have Autowipers.

Yeh it's rather annoying! So that's another for the list.

Mines doesn't have anti hijack enabled, so one less to worrie about.

I don't understand this car, it has the sensor in the window which you'd think that it would be for auto wipers & lights, very strange. My brothers 06 Jetta has them as standard
