My lucky day.....

Featured Replies

My mechanic has just collected my car for an MOT and service, it was originally booked in for the test at 1pm, but for various reasons it was put back. As a result of my cancellation they had another car take the slot which following the test was parked in the MOT bay. As the guy walked back in to hang the keys up a senile old git in an automatic Peugoet 206 drove in to the garage but instead of pressing the brake he hit the accelerator, net result, car parked in bay (which should have been mine) has been demolished!! My mechanic said that visually the entire rear quarter is stoved in but there is definitely more damage underneath.............. :o

So, my lucky day!

your rear quarter best be thanking its lucky stars!

i had a similar thing a few years back, driving on a road near mine, i was feeling nice that day and flashed a car out of a junction to join the road i was on, got the end of the road at a T junction, a bus turned in, giving himself too much of a wide birth, couldt get it back in time and smashed into the car who i had flashed out...i felt lucky but i bet he wished i was not feeling so polite that day

So the day improved, sailed through the MOT and incidently the tester said my HIDs are not a failure and are legal if fitted, aligned and maintained correctly. Under the new rules, they only need washers and self leveling IF fitted, which must work. Milltek is on, mechanic said it was a piece of pish, just over half an hour labour for that, service also done and platinum plugs installed in anticipation of the stage 2 software which will be uploaded in the New Year so.......happy days.
