Hi

I have a set of 312mm front brakes calipers and 256mm rear calipers from a 4motion vw passat

Bought as a project to upgrade my standard brakes on my ibiza

Am reverting back to standard on the ibiza so dont need the brakes

All bolts, pins, pipes included

They are slightly rusty

Fronts need new seals, backs look ok

Did you get a spacer kit for the fitting of 4mo rear brakes to a 2wd car?

No didnt get a spacer kit for fitting the rears - what would be required?

Even with the spacer kit they still don't fit 100% you need 2wd rear carriers if they are being fitted to a 2WD car.

Passat also a different platform, but I think if you swap them side to side they might work.

Fit a 4x4 Octavia MK1 no problems though.

Good point! Didnt think of this, only want the rears.

Due to them being 5 x 112 PCB and more better for 4wd`s - il split if needed - offers invited

Hiya pal . One question- Are they 312 as the 4Motion b5 passat did not have them as standard, they only fitted them to select b5.5 passats with v5 engine and auto gearbox and FWD 2.5 tdi + a few quattro's with bigger engines...

is there any part nos on the carriers or names . im really after the 312mm carriers if poss pm me please

think its just some tdi 4mo's that didnt necessarily have them, a v6 4mo B5.5 should be sound, good price btw, if you were closer i'd have them no worries
