hi all, just fitted a new clutch on my skoda octavia 1.9 diesel, but there is no pressure on my clutch pedal, i removed the rear access plate to check the thrust bearing which is ok but noticed the pushrod only just comes through the hole very little leaving the thrust bearing having no pressure ie the thrust bearing going all the way down the shaft, i know it sounds daft but it is as if the rod is too short,has anybody else had any similar problems im pulling out all my hair to try and work it out, any help would be great. thanks dougie

either the golf or lupo part 698 998 both fit - were on ebay for a decent price recently - over £100 from dealer
