Cleaned the Pollen Filtre on my Vrs Today (Octavia MkII) and must have removed a good size bag of leaves and other debries.

Is there any other little channels, pipes, grills that need cleaning to Improve aitr flow?

why didnt you just get a new one? its only £5 for a Framm one from my local motorfactors, but gettin back to your Question i dont think there is mate.

I changed mine yesterday and yes had a bucket full of leaves. Splashed out on a new one for £5 from eurocar parts. Won't make the car any faster but what the hell lol!

It's only 3 months old, just removed it and hoovered it out. I'll treat it to a new one in the spring.

Well they both have exactly the same part number, would that be right?

Not wanting to look daft I've soldiered on and found the part no for the carbon version, which is: 1K2819653B (http://www.vwspares.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=274) so unless my old one has the wrong part no stamped on it, it is in fact an abolutely filthy standard filter!
