Fabia vrs blue dashboard lights. (Now more images)

Featured Replies

I am pleased to say that I have had my dash and control lights converted to blue. They look awsome! The dimming feature works as it should do and it all looks perfect.

A big thank's to Dark_Hero who supplied and fitted all of the lights in a short space of time for a very reasonable price.

Now for the bit your all waiting for is the picture so I wont keep you all waiting!

More pictures!

I think there will be a fair few people wanting this done it looks amazing

Looks very nice, I like that.

How mUch did this cost, looks really good!

That looks excellent mate.

Well done.

Would like mine done, but am very much the opposite side of the "South" and can't afford the time off the road to send my dashpod and switches to be done, by mail. :(

If you're on holiday in the west country next summer Mr Dark Hero? ;) I may still commission you to get all the parts together for me and send me a "conversion" package. I have a mate who is handy with a soldering iron, but would most likely still need a really good "how to" to ensure a proper job is done.

PM Dark_Hero for a price mate.

So chuffed with the look of the dials. I've wanted them blue since I bought the car!

In case any ones interested I can also do different colours too

Do you have a guide line price?

Looks wicked!

I like that, very nice.

After sitting in my Dad's Octavia vRS, I do have a hunger for white dials. White dials green needles would look great.

Ross how true are these images to the end result? To me they look a tad over exposed causing the lights to blow out so it's hard to tell true colour and consistency. I don't know if this is the reality or mis-representation. Are the LEDs providing a consistent light across the dials. Or are there any hot spots where you can tell the positioning of the LEDs.

Dark_Hero, do you know of any added complications to a Maxi-dot display?

Hi Tim,

They are consistent light across the dials, so it doesn't show the individual leds. I've been running mine for over a year now :-)

I wouldn't have thought there were any complications for the maxi-dot, Only way to tell is to have a look really :-)

it would be difficult to get green needles as the vrs needles have a red coating on them..

A guideline price is £100 for everyone who's interested

Bump for a great service. I'm amazed more people ain't interested in having this done.

I was going to drive a 450 mile round trip, stay in a hotel and pay double the price before the cost of fuel/hotel etc to get this done.

It makes me love the car so much more when getting behind the wheel at night!

he can do any colour combo you want...

Am I right in thinking non vRS needles dont have a tint?

For the photo's I had the lights up full blast so they are bright but don't show any inconsistencies. I drive with them all the way down because they are bright.

I Can't praise the service enough. The price is outstanding and the dials look brilliant. Ill do some more pictures of them dimmed and so on if anybody requests them.

When Luke told me that he found somebody so far away I was interested in travelling up with him. Even for the extortionate price but I'm glad we was both put off by the journey.

Any picture requests could you drop me a PM as that'll make my phone go off and I can usually get the pictures done pretty quickly.
