Twindoor Problem

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I have a problem with my Twindoor system on my beloved '09 Superb. This is the scenario: I park the car after reaching my destination. Family gets out, I pull out the key, step out and open the Twindoor full open. After emptying the boot I close it and this is where it happens... It won't lock. Also noticeable is that when I open it in the first place, the lights in the boot goes out. Anyway, I then lock the car using the key and THEN the Twindoor system locks up by the window but not the sedan door lock by the fender. I then unlock the car, open the sedan hatch and close it again. Then the boot finally locks as it should and I can lock the car.

Any suggestions to what might be wrong? Cable issue? An issue in the car's computer? An issue in the electrical locking system? And lastly... does this sound like an expensive repair to you guys?

This happens consistently. If I'm not using the Twindoor system and just open the sedan hatch, there are no issues at all.

I hope you understand what I'm writing here. English is not my first language.

Cheers,

Hakim
