Fast road wheel alignment?

Featured Replies

I've searched to no avail on this one...

The alignment is out on my car for definate. Now I'm aware there is a common problem with alignment and there are factory settings recently released BUT has anyone got any 'fast road' settings instead?

Search for uneven wear ;)

Hi, if you go to a specialist wheel alignment company they will ask you about your driving style and set the car up accordingly. Your sig says you have a 75?

marcevo, where are you based? You need a specialist with the necessary alignment equipment.

If anywhere near NW London, Herts / Bucks, I can highly recommend Wheels in Motion in Chesham.

Have a look at their website!

+1. They've just set up my MX5.

It's much better  Drove from Bristol to Watford

to get it done. Their reputation within MX5 circles is second to none.

75 - yes I have an alfa 75 track day car as well as my vrs ;) not a rover 75!

I've come from pretty quick motors and do a lot of driving around the evo triangle..... For work ;)

When I say fast road I'm not meaning track day camber etc to shred tyres but to get a bit of a compromise.

Normally with forums someone's done all the hard work finding the best set up. Doesn't seem to be the case here?

Obviously the addition of lower springs / alk / lower arms etc will influence but I'm looking for a standard car best set up ( not the factory settings to make tyres last for ever)

I'm based up in the nw by the way in Cheshire

I did the hard work with my pd100 project.

Perhaps you could do the hard work on your project

Let them know you saw it on the Briskoda forum. I had mine set up there a year ago for standard road use and it is absolutely spot on. They do a lot of fast road and track set ups as well so will be able to advise you.

I use these guys to set my various cars up, started with an Imprezza years ago but have used them for trick Octavias & the Nissan, always excellent
