I'll be 26 in February. Seems to be the average age :-)

  • I'm in my 47th year and I cant leave my Fabia Vrs alone always thinking of next mod. I will say that looking at this thread and the ages of most owners I feel old Regards Whoosh

I'm clearly extremely geriatric at 54 - but why does it stop at 66?

Must be the age you legally have to sell up and buy something more suitable... ;):giggle:

38 here :(

I don't think the original poster believes people live longer than that. ;)

It's just way, way in the future...

My missus has Vrs se 001 and she's 50!

I'm 45 and consider this car to be my mid life crisis (all the mods I'm having done) - still beats buying a Harley

I got mine at 17 also funded by myself.

I got my first (red) one at 32,Now 34 with se no26.

Most people i see round here with them seem younger.

I'm way past that age - last three "main" cars going backwards in time were Freelander V6, Subaru Impreza Turbo and BMW 525iSE Touring.

I've been pondering a VW Up! :)

Just out of interest, I wonder who the oldest person posting on Briskoda is?

I suppose I should hand the crown gracefully to you.

Damn it! ;)

You've got a Yeti and a Fabia VRS! Top man. B)

Likewise. The best combination, I'm sure ;)

feels a slap coming to the back of the head soon lol

I`m 22 :) Had my fabia 3 years now.

I'm 21 and got my vrs when I was 19 thanks to the lovely people at the Royal Bank of Scotland that gave me a loan.

Remember some of you, I could just about physically be your granddad - and you're driving a car like mine! :)

26 and had the vrs for just over 3 years now :)

31 and just got mine a few weeks ago. Always had petrols before so the VRS is a bit of a change for me!

I had been wanting the car for ages! Had an Octavia before but was caught up in a pile-up near home and the car was written off and i was left penny-less and car-less...

Was on a crap wage so couldn't afford to buy a car again which was a big let down, changed jobs after 3 months for an IT Apprenticeship which was even worse money but knew if i completed the course it would be ok (even though it would be a few years :/) since the write off i put some money away every month and managed to buy myself a nice gilera runner 125 scooter to get me from A to B instead of using rip-off trains to commute. After 4 months of being in the IT job i was made redundant as the company was having financial problems... Did an intensive search on jobs and withing a few days got an interview and after an hour of finishing the interview i got offered the job and started few days after.

Now being in sales i was on lot more money and managed to buy a Corsa C 1.4 SRi for a nice price as i work for BMW and get part ex's for the price they traded it for... After having the car for 2 months i didn't like it and decided to look at the VRS again. Found a nice place 5 miles from work on internet that sold one, went to look after work on a sat, fell in love with the car, got finance check and passed, got a bonus rate of 2.9%APR so ordered the car there and then. Had to wait a week to pick the car up which was horrible as i wanted it then but definately was worth the wait.

Have to say it's a great car and get a lot of comments

WHACK!!

:rofl::rofl:

I'm 33 and had the car for 5 years (Sept 2006).

I was going to mention my mother has one, but it's not a vRS and she is not a Brisky member.

  • 2 months later...

I see I'm still the "geriatric" ! :giggle:

I'm 21, had the vrs for around 16 months now. Keeping it for 2 more years then getting something like a golf/octy vrs
