yellow vrs, how many made?

Featured Replies

I would have liked a yellow car but didn't buy one in 2004 for two reasons:

A] I was concerned about the hit in value or difficultly in selling a yellow one

B] There was a black one in the showroom already

My Atom's yellow though!

I have lemon yellow and someone up the road from me has the sprint yellow, I prefer the lemon one looks nice after a good polish n wax. One problem though it shows the soot on the rear a good n.

I think I've only ever seen one yellow Fabia. It isn't a VRS, but it's owned by someone round the corner from me (they must've like it, they've 3 Skodas)

Never seen one lol

Nor me.

To be honest yellow vRSs around here (Gloucester) are a lot more common than blue ones. Since buying my SE over a year ago I haven't seen another one! The Cinderford dealer said he sold 8 originally.

I have only seen one yellow one around my way, but there were two SE (although ones just been traded in for a mk2 vrs. The guy must like them as he had a red vrs before the SE)

I've only seen three SE Fabias in the last year, one of those was you at Santa Pod.

Seen half a dozen yellow ones and so many black, red and silver I gave up counting a long time ago...

I've seen more se's than any other too lol

Because they are special, you just notice them more. ;)

I think that is true in a way. As soon as I see the blue paint on a fabia I know its a SE even its its a passing car quickly. Others can often not be identified as a vRS straight away, especially silver I noticed, can often be mistaken for a normal fabia if just a passing blur.

Its because the yellow was a horrid yellow :( If it was more like VW Nugget Yellow or Porsche Speed yellow or Mitsubishi Dandelion Yellow or even Audi's Imola Yellow!

Possibly but I'd notice any other colour if I seen one :)

Really? Funny I find silver to be the easiest lol as its silver you can see the lines much clearer like the bit round the bottom on the rear bumper and exhaust and the slats at the front round the fogs as the wee vent on the side, things which just can't be seen on a black which I always have to look twice at.

Ha ha, the first day I drove mine into work, one of the old boys I work with asked why I got it in such a "woofty doofty" yellow. He then told me about a Ferrari Yellow Escort he used to own.

edit - I don't think I've ever seen a SE.
