Yeti Yeti Scout

Featured Replies

Hello to every one, I have been on this site before but not really introduced myself......I'm sat diver.

History....before divorce M3 Boxter S etc...... Pick your self up......move on.....I lived overseas for a year and when I came back I only had about 20k for a car

And I really fancied a Yeti......Brilliant I bought a 140 Ellegance 4x4 well true to form.....I wasn't satisfied and swapped it for a 170.....

Even better, it's everything you need and more, it's that good, well.......fate delt hand last week and the car I originally ordered over a year ago turned up and again I swapped

I now have my Octavia Scout Tdi Dsg full of toys and I like it more than the Yeti......it seems to suit me better and the box is brilliant.

My mrs has a Yeti now she has a SE 1.2DSG and I would say it's quite simply one of the BEST cars I have ever driven, seriously it's that good

Do not be reined in by the bigger engine like I was the Dsg 1.2 is a gem THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN MOTORING.

Now I'm going to look at maybe chipping the Scout.....any one have any ideas.......I'm up and down from Preston to Appleby M 70ULY REG

Very hard going into a dealer for the first time, but I challenge anyone not to by a Skoda product.....I was a car SNOB..... Not any more

Happy Xmas to you all and be safe

Welcome :hi:

Good choices of motors, (both past & present)! I'm not sure there are many on here with Scout CR TDI's who've had them remapped. Might be worth contacting people like Ben at Shark (one of the sponsors) or the usual suspects Like Revo to see what the options are.

When I got ours there was a very limited range of options for remaps, so I've kinda sat back and waited. Glad I did as like most VAG diesels it's take a good few thousand for it to loosen up! May start looking about again in the new year

Enjoy!

Welcome from me too. I recommend that you post in the Octavia Ii forum for advice on getting your Scout remapped. If it is a facelift model, the ECU may well be encrypted (like my car's is) which will mean that the ECU will need to be removed and opened up to install a remap.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome :)

Hello satdiver and welcome along
