Wel, my first guess before I saw the picture was adding a red nose to your car?

However now I've seen the picture I'm going with aero rear wiper?

Facelift rear lights.

You need to do the other side Bryan!!

Both done now Chris - just thought I'd show the comparison

Andrew - should have gone to Specsavers

Snap, done my hatch and estate too!

Remember to stick the old ones on eBay, I very nearly covered the full cost of the facelift ones both times

You just need to add the new badges now, then (from the rear at least) you are fully facelifted!

There is a slight change to the lens on the facelift lenses too, instead of the heaxagonal print they have vertical lines...

You've painted your rear number plate Gold

Guess so, but at least I can remember names! Still I can make allowances at your age Bryan!!!

Sorry Martin :(

Who's Andrew then?

Andrew's the chap you bought the Golf seats from in Scarborough. AKA Skinnyman

If you can remember that far back, :p I picked them up from his house and you collected them from me.

I remember it well, just got the names the wrong way around

Don't know about that, they look horizontal in the picture!

Looking good. My passenger rear has a small crack in it so I guess new ones are needed ;)

Whats the cost?

Main dealer £45 each inc VAT

Wrote the text before adding the picture!

Do you have part numbers? I looked into this (I have a silver one - or at least I will if the dealer ever fixes it - so it will look super pimp) but they quoted £67 each. I have £100 in vouchers that need spending by the end of the year too.

Estate l/h - 1Z9 945 111B

Estate r/h - 1Z9 945 112B

Price should be around £45 each inc VAT

Did they quote you a price including fitting maybe?

For some reason the hatch clusters are quite a bit more than the estate ones.

I paid £55.00 + VAT (£66.00) each for mine and a little less than Brimma for the estate ones (around £50 inc. VAT).

Some dealers will discount though, I bought a few other bits at the same time (boot badges) and got about 30% off the total.

?????????

Mine were £45 inc VAT :)

*more

:giggle:

That partially explains it. Mine are hatch lenses. Doesn't appear to be that much more plastic in them mind...

Just checked, hatch lights are indeed around the £66 mark.......even more reason for getting the estate :)

Bit the bullet with these today. Had my £100 vouchers from last year to use up, and don't seem to use gallons of screenwash, so thought why not. £68 a side, which is too much, but I'll get something for the old ones that will come out which will cover the upgrade cost.
