Hi just joined to say thanks for the bits of information I have been gleaning from your forums for the past month. Some of the postings have been really helpful.

But just to say I have a Fabia that does not work (it did until I started on it today trying to make it better)

today I set about trying to remove the convenience unit (success), checked it, replaced it (needed part number), actually got the window switches to work the right way round and the doors to lock again (not on the button), but as is the way with these things now the fuel pump relay clicks but does not get the pump to pump fuel (got sparks).

So after spending all day freezing my nads off, head upside down in the footwell, I now have to do it all again tomorrow after the battery has charged.

I did think about a small bonfire in the driveway to warm myself on, but the wife said no and anyway when it goes after much fixing in the past month, it goes very well for an old un with a lot of miles on it.

Going to consume alcohol in medium doses, and hoping that somebody may take pity on me and tell me where I can find a wiring diagram for the fuel pump circuit.
