New here -awaiting my Superb Greenline II Elegance

Have just joined up as I have a Superb Elegance Greenline II hatch on order. Week 9 build date apparently. I currently have a 180bhp Saab 93 Aero but I am actually looking forward to having less poke. I tend to just want to race everyone currently which becomes tiring after a while!

I have to confess I never thought I would drive a Skoda but I was hugely impressed by the car and the dealer (Progress - Northampton). So far so good! Look forward to keeping you updated on things.

I got just the new software version 1989. Curious what's it is gonna bring. Already satisfied with 1985 but i love gadgets and up to date materials. One thing from the beginning with software 1969 til now mine park to pay or pay to park still not working. But i am not using that anyway to prices of parking are ridiculous. So i hope this one is even better then 1985 we will see.

Recent bought a second hand 2025 elroq 85 edition trim (no packages) Trying to get my head round the lane assist feature. Skoda manuals don't explain it particularly well. I thought that it would happily keep my in the motorway lane, as long as my hands were touching the steering wheel..instead it kind of bounces me back and forth between the lines like a pinball before getting angry at me and telling me to drive in the centre of the lane. I thought that was your job, car! Anyway it acts more

Hi.... Just a bit of as heads up.... I got in my Superb 1.4 TSi 2018 (50,000 miles) on Friday night and the engine started making an almighty rattling / clattering / knocking noise. When I took it to a local indy garage the next day they said it sounds exactly like another Skoda they had in the previous week. The one they looked at before wasn't a Superb (can't remember which model they said), but it had done similar relatively low mileage and a bolt was loose at the camshaft p

Since I had the car, every time I drove it, it has had what my wife called a rattling from the doors. I always characterised it as a creak. As the car is otherwise so quiet (especially when on battery at slow speed) it was quite noticable. We were lowering the passenger front window which went all the way to the bottom, accompanied by a horrible clattering. That was it stuck down, any attempts to raise it just produced the rattling. Luckily it was in the middle of a heatwave. Took the door card off and motor but can only lift the window up 2" to try to get to the clamps. There's a cable with a nipple visible loose inside the door by the locking button which is draped over a pulley (see photo, sorry about the socks). Any suggesti
