Ready for winter

Featured Replies

Finally managed to sort some more wheels and tyres out for the winter as the road salt and bad weather was starting to tarnish my polished comps.

Got some 6.5j, 16" beetle alloys and sprayed them an anthracite colour. They've turned out really good and im happy with the look. While i was at that i also carbon wrapped my B pillars to match my spoiler! Getting the bug for wrapping things now, tempted to do my grille and numberplate surround :)

I like those  Standing by for the "It needs to go lower" crew

What tyres you gone for?

I'm liking my Michelin alpin's.

Yeah i really want to go a bit lower, maybe 25-30mm max (due to the drive). As for tyres i couldnt get any winter tyres from anywhere and for a decent price! I wasnt going to pay £400 on tyres when we havent even had snow. Ive gone for 195 wide and had some new firestones all weather tyres, kinda like the rainsport 2's, so should be ok, compared to summer toyos! I actually quite like them the more i look at them.

Looking good mate.

Wheels suit it.

my car had toyo px4 all weather tires on and even when ice and snow hit the roads i had no loss of traction or skidding at all. really impressed with them considering they were wide and low profile.

last year on toyo t1-s the car was really dangerous and undriveable in the snow. left it at home because dint have the confidence in the car and dint want to ruin mine or anybody elses car

I'll buy these I you after winter if you do me a good deal on them ;) pm me when you want to sell them :)

Lovin the 'winter' look :) the alloys look smart
