ho ho ho!!heated seat, any good?as .never had them before...also mine will be 2012 model, whats dif to 2011???only 2 more sleeps paul

Good in Bora, Rubbish in the Octavia, they simply don't get hot enough with the honeycomb effect fabric in the VRS.

In my MY11 Superb they get more than hot enough (you cannot leave them on max on a decent journey)

Wouldn't be without mine

This is the same on the mother in laws Mk6 Golf. Skoda have looked at it and said that it is fine but i am not convinced until i find another VRS with heated seats to try,.

Seem plenty hot enough in the L&K with the Alcantara seats and have to back down from 3 leds lights lit up down to 2 or 1 after five minutes or so. Perhaps it is the VRS hatch fabric but our VRS does not have heated seats so cannot test compare. Hope they are good in the Superb 2 with standard Onyx seats.

They work fine in my vRS and as Martin says you couldn't leave them on for a long journey. I have the leather seats though but can't see why that would make a difference.

I have the alcantara trim in my Superb SE and make use of the heater on almost every journey this time of year. I wouldn't be without my heated seats. I never find the need for the hottest setting and cannot keep it on setting two for very long. The lowest setting stays on for most of the journey.

My MY2011 Yeti drivers seat squab doesn't warm up any more, but it is being fixed under warranty. My back gets nice and toasty, but cold bum. When it works, it can get almost too hot to sit on, so glad I can turn it down.

Had mine on low tonight as it was only 18 centigrades on the way back from the restaurant.

 That's a good one. I have the air-con on for anything above about 5C. I guess it depends what you're acclimatised to (Scotland being dreich most of the time). ;)

Heated seats are great.

Usually allow mine to toast up on level 3 then back down to 1. Often have to tweak the AC up when the seats come down as I notice a drop in ambient temperature.

Definitely worth the extra.

Alcantara and L&K? Not a Superb, is it?

Having heated seats on my Audi I didn't hesitate in ordering them. The Superb seats are much better IMO.

Phil.

I'd never had heated seats before and probably wouldn't have ordered them if it had been an option but they came with the Elegance trim level anyway. Now, having got them I love them for the first few minutes on a cold morning and my wife thinks they're the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Heated seats are just GREAT i got on my superb on back seats as well the best thing there are quick 2-3mins you will use them.

Heated seats were the one thing I missed going from a Honda Accord to Octavia vRS in 2007 - so very happy to have them as standard on my new Superb Elegance
