cheers for the link Kev, any joy on whether my problem has been sourced, as mine was not a hex output but a timing map?

Yes Bill -- it is 1 time write on mileage -- nightmare,I understand that from what you say the REVO code runs alongside stock in spare space ? -- if so that would certainly rule out being spotted by OEM dealer equiptment.

I was not aware that such "spare space" existed, but surely the manufacterers now what space is left ? and could - in theory anyway check this ?

Just curious

Have to say quite impressed with REVO's response - being as open as poss without giving the game away or slagging everyone off.

Should also say - although I work for an Audi Main dealer -- I in no way have an axe to grind, indeed we see a large number of modified vehicles though our workshop -- some we are told about, some that are obvious -- just curious as to how it may effect work we do......we sometimes have to flash the gearbox ECU's on the multitronic gearbox's -- for software updates -- and this is something that is becoming more common - we are told that this may even occur for engine code as well. Not sure how it would respond if a car was REVO'd -- would it just fail - or could it kill it ???

Why not take your question with Revo directly? They seem quite helpfull in answering most of the questions that many of us make.

/FD

Any dealer updates/flashing that need to be done will be as per normal on a car with our code on. We have numerous VAG dealers that actually sell our product and have had no problems with dealer updates, etc. on cars running Revo code.

Sorry for any delay in my responses on here, there are alot of forums to get round and unfortunatley I can't spend all day on the internet!
