se , se plus whats the diff ...

hello could you please help again

what is the difference between the SE plus 152PS engine and SE 160PS engine

is the SE PLus a run out model .. and that is why the engne is less PS

SE Plus has only just been introduced and is to run alongside the SE. The main purpose of the SE plus is to give you the chance to buy an SE with lots of extras, but without the full cost of adding those extras to the SE. Not sure on the difference in engine horsepower, but 8PS is very small and could be down any number of factors.

Ive just ordered and 1.8 TSI SE Plus Estate.... the 'Plus' spec adds the MDI and cables for ipod/mp3 connectivity, the Amundsen touch screen sat nav unit, and bluetooth connectivity. Also electrically adjustable front seats, and privacy glass, steering wheel with telephone controls, and on the hatch, a boot net under the parcel shelf.

My understanding for the slightly lower engine power is it is to do with lowering emissions averages across the range. I stand to be corrected but the legal requirement for average emissions for petrol models across a manufacturers range of cars is being lowered, the 152 PS engine has slightly lower CO2 output than the 160 which helps in this regard.....although I stand to be corrected!!!
