Rear anti-roll bar.

Featured Replies

Does having both braces on not increase wear on the tyres at all?

Car will stay 'flatter' through the bends as roll resisted, but tyre wear will not necessarily be increased.

However, it's the higher speed you will be able to hold through the bends which is likely to have an effect :)

:giggle: Is was on purpose wasn't it?

I'm almost convinced on the Jabba. Only reason I can find not to is if I decide to run a front bar too. Will the rear (non-adjustable) be too much for the front as well.

It's an unlikely event, and I'm overthinking the whole thing, but still, anyone tried running front and rear bars?

Yeah, the entire whoops-slide-right-flick-slide-left-and-wobble-to-finish was done for comedy effect. Just wish these seats were a darker colour - easier to clean. :D

If I ran on standard suspension I might lean towards the Whiteline bar. It wasn't available when I got my Jabba one and I hated the pitchiness of the standard suspension anyway coming from an AX GT and an Impreza both of which tended to brake "flat" rather than adopt a "falling forwards" position that always made me think I was stopping far quicker than I really was.

Feel free to persuade me to part with my jabba RARB ;)

joshh - PM'd

I have a friend with an ibiza cupra and he runs front and back bars. white line on the rear for adjustability.

How does he/you find the double bar combo?

LOL. So the falling fowards was stopped with the coilovers?

I'll see what a rear bar does to firm things up first. All this suspension fettling talk is getting to sound expensive. The whole point of going VRS was because a Golf was overpriced, but is now starting to look like similar money

Got my rarb fitted last night. Only been for one drive, albeit a very spirited country road blast and my god was it good. It corners so flat its unbelievable! the vrs should come with one as standard!

Which one have you gone with?

Jabba one :-)

Jabba FTW!

Jabba ordered :)

What a great job the Jabba does  . As I was fitting the bar today I noticed the car has Eibach Pro springs fitted, which lower the car 25mm ish.

The roll has reduced to a nice amount. The springs don't do bumpy roads too well, and crash on some bad bumps as the dampers are so much closer to the bump stops. The underdamped dampers are quite noticeable now, otherwise handling is quite acceptable and by any standard, quite good
