Fitting Cupra Splitter - Do I need to cut the two upright plastic bits off in the middle of the splitter, to be able to fit it?

They need trimming, but not removing altogether. The middle of the splitter where the uprights are is lower than the edge so ideally you'd just cut enough off that it allows the splitter to be mounted flush to the bumper.

Cut down to where there is a bit of plastic joining the two parts of each upright together. Approx 15mm from memory, maybe a bit more.

Thanks, I will give it a go :)Then I have to trim a bit of the two ends don't I?

Yeah, a few inches. There is a guide on here somewhere I am sure.

Guys, would it look stupid to fit one of those splitters to a normal bumper 2002 Furby rather than to a vrs or facelift one?

I know it will not look pro but at least some sporty look?

Regards

I think the Cupra splitter makes any car look sportier mate

I'd say go for it as long as it will fit with minimal work
