  • First rolling road day for a while, made 182bhp and 308lbft.

  • Ordered a set of BBS RW's today, fitted as standard on VW Polo Dune. Mines will come with BBS centre caps, searched high and low for a decent set and these ones are clean and never been refurbed.

  • Test fit of the Rotiforms today.

Well, the teal blue RW's and slam panel didn't last long, not really my thing for everyday so I went a bit more subtle. Managed to pick up a set of BBS RW 2 piece split rims, 7.5 x 17 et 35. They were a bit worse for wear so I sent them to Fife Powdercoat in Glenrothes, centres are dark anthracite and the barrels are chrome. Also fitted a Rhino Lip spoiler to the front bumper rather than the usual LCR one.

Wheels look brilliant as always. The rhino lip looks great too

Thanks Charlie, the one piece RW's have become popular on Fabia's so I thought I would go for something a bit different and harder to come by.

That's the only problem when someone fits wheels that look really good. Everyone else wants to follow

love the wheel colour choice and there one of my fav sets of wheels really want a pair myself lol car looks really well

Thought I would mention pw motorsport, bought my one piece RW's from them which they supplied with new centre caps. My 2 piece RW's centre caps were in a sorry state so I bought a new set to finish off the refurbishment.

Been an expensive couple of weeks, new alternator and service done. Today was my last show of the year so it's time to put the winter wheels on.

Managed to pick up a GT1749VB for £100, plan is to send it to AET and get a hybrid built. Might actually fit this one, third time lucky.

Nice. Should push it over the 200 mark easily? Where did you go for the rolling road? Local to Edinburgh?

  • Author

Put some silicone sealer in the plug just as an extra precaution against corrosion.
