First meet of 2015 with the BeTapp'd group.

Good as always Kenny. Thought about a touch of spacing at the rear?

It rubs with the kids sat in the back as it is Lloyd, didn't really want to take the arch liners out.

New tyres and centre caps for the vrs wheels.

 

 

 

Had a little front end makeover, didn't fancy a big mouth or smoothed bumper. Drilled five 50mm holes and fitted a Japanese size number plate, might not appeal to some but it's something a bit different.

 

Couple of thoughts, what about fitting a black grille in place of your number plate? It would make that part blend better with the bottom half without cutting to make a big-mouth.

Secondly, what about painting the chrome part of your upper grille black? Would make the opening/aperture look bigger/better?

I had thought about getting another lower grill and turning it upside down to put in place of the number plate plinth but there would be a gap left between the two grills. I like the chrome radiator grill, not keen on changing it to black.

not a fan of the number plate holder drilled but i do quite like how the number plate sits being a jap sized one on the side

If I get bored with it I can always put it back to the way it was.

First time out for the new trike on the roof, far easier to lift than the last one.

Bought another Momo steering wheel, this time a 300mm Team model. Takes a bit getting used to so I might use my 350mm Tuner wheel for everyday use.

Went to the Scottish vag meet in Dundee on Monday night, sduk photography were there and took a few pics of the Fabia.

Had tried to get my hands on a set of BBS RK split rims but I unfortunately missed out on them so I went for a colour change on my RW's, Fife Powdercoat did a fantastic job.

Had my slam panel powder coated to match the wheels.

It would have been too easy just to do the wheels silver or anthracite and the panel black, I think with the car being silver it gave me more options with what colour to go for. It won't be to most people's taste but it's something different.
