Welcome to Briskoda.

Best bet is to have a browse around the forum for ideas, as the popoluar mods pop up frequesntly.

Briefly though, if your car is currently standard, have a think about/search for:

Remap - Shark or Oscarli/Washbrook get good reviews. There are plenty of others of course.

312mm front brake upgrade.

Lower springs with standard or uprated dampers. Or coilovers, depending on preference and budget.

You can go for an exhaust if you like, but not a lot to be gained other than sound based on most posts on here. Mufflerectomy seems popular, which gets rid of the single silencer in the system.

There's EGR blockoff or delete.

CCV catch can or pikey elephant hose mod.

After that, it's upgraded turbo, front mount intercooler, uprated clutch and single mass flywheel etc.

You can chuck an enormous amount of money at it if you really want to.

I'll let you do some research on pricing, as I can't be arsed, frankly. :D

Enjoy your new car, they're great little motors, and I love mine.

Thanks for the info mate ! Was already looking at fmic and remap aswell before looking at New clutch cause I have heard after a remap its pretty close to the limit

Standard clutch is rated to about 310lb/ft I think, and most remaps get you near to 300. Depends on the map though and how the torque is delivered. Spikey maps can shred a standard clutch if nor driven considerately. Shark do lovely smooth maps that are very clutch friendly. Doesn't mean you can do what you like with the car though, so just don't boot it from low revs in a high gear. Take advantage of the more usable power band, and use higher revs when you need to "make progress". If you uprate the clutch, then maps can take advantage of that too, and give more torque.

I had a P-Torque map on my previous Tollie PD130 done @ 100k. Torque was 286lbs/ft (on his dyno). Was still on standard clutch @ 186k!

Welcome to briskoda, the best value for money bhp improvement is hands down a Stage One remap. Plenty of companies offer these including site sponsors Shark.

Other mods have also been listed above :)

Personal preference.

I wouldnt really say 16's are too small, i ran 3 sets of 16's on mine and like to stick to the OEM size personally. I think you should buy my Merc 8 pots up for sale at the moment :) I love how they look on the fabia.

personally i would not go down the octavia 17" spider route, they have been done to death and IMO there are lots of nicer wheels out there than them. Sure il get slated from the die hard spider fans but oh well...

...try something different, thats what i was going for :)

As said, get on the alloy thread and look for what you like :)
