You don't sound thick at allemoticon-0136-giggle.gifH7 is the size of the bulb! It's what in the headlight if you've got projectors you've got 2 in each emoticon-0148-yes.gif

VRS only has one H7 each side, inner bulb is a dummy.

You'll have 2 if you've got projectors? Or can you not spec this in a vrs ?

After reading the manual my lights are projectors And I need to get my wallet back out and buy some H7 bulbs now.

Anyone want some osram nightbreaker H4 bulbs lol

This is wrong

MY 2010/11 Fabia VRS's have 2 H7's in projectors for dip beam and 2 H7's in reflectors for High beam (These are Silver/Chrome)

MY 2011/12 Fabia VRS's have 2 H7's in projectors which provide both the dip and main beam. (These are Black)

Not if don't have projectors or do all vrs come with projectors as standard, I had too spec mine ( elegance)

there you go.

All vRS come with projector units as standard. The difference comes with black pack vs earlier cars (with the chrome grill).

Black-pack cars have just a projector unit. Earlier chrome-grilled motors have both a projector and reflector light on each side.

So vrs black pack only 1 H7 in the projector? I've got 4 H7 in total emoticon-0104-surprised.gif

Yeah I think only 1 in projector so 2 in total for the car.

My pre black-pack vRS is like yours - 1 H7 in each projector and reflector so 4 in total

Does this mean that the 4 bulb set up has better lightsemoticon-0140-rofl.gif or are we just spending more for same results emoticon-0104-surprised.gif

Not sure- I've not been in a black-pack car at night. Would seem logical that those cars would be worse but then again the standard 4-bulb set-up is pretty shocking. SWMBO has got to the stage where she is refusing to drive it at night until the bulbs are upgraded... Which is no use when you are relying on a wife-taxi back from the pub!!! :D

Wife and I found it really difficult at night, however I have upgraded to Philips extreme 100% bulbs and lifted headlight up so fantastic now, have you tried lifting the whole headlight

How did you manage to do that? Any problems dazzling other drivers?! I get enough muppets flashing me because of the DRLs as it is :giggle:

On top of the headlight unit there is a green hex screw, turn that slowly and it will rise really makes a difference, seems like a few furbies came out without it being done, also changes sidelights to LEDs

A couple of months ago I fitted Osram Nightbreakers in the projectors @ £15 for the pair and lifted the beam slightly, I don't think mine left the factory with the beam as low as some though.

No-one has flashed me so they can't be high and the beam is significantly better.
