hi, i need to replace my rear shocks on my octavia mk1, im not sure what brand to replace them with, ive found some meyle ones for a reasonable price, just need to know if there any good, also, does anybody know who the standard ones are made by, cheers lee

I fitted Monroe to mine, and OEM fronts. By the quality of some of the other Mehle?(meyle?) parts I've fitted in the past I wouldn't consider using them. For instance the trackrod ends on vRS's do not make very good replacements for the standard VW items and put the tracking WAY out when fitted. Or maybe it's just me...
