Does anyone know how to remove the tailgate panel on an Octavia Estate. B. new puppy chewed pull down handle and need to remove it but its seems panel had to come out

If memory serves me right there is one screw above the grab handle which needs to be removed, then the panel pulls off - happy tugging as its well held in place.

ive just removed mine today on a hatchback, one torx screw in the grab handle then its just a case of pulling quite hard, i would start at the bottom around the lock catch then work up the sides try to pop each clip off straight as they have a tendency to brake. my tailgate is in the garage waiting for the araldite to set on the broken clips.

Does the grab handle not come off with removal of the Torx screw?

Or do you have to remove the whole panel to reveal more screws?

where in SW are you? I took mine off to do a rear view camera and it is just a matter of working your way round gently after you take screw out, happy to help if you are not too far away I am in Wiltshire.

No the torx screw hold the centre of the tail gate trim - you have to remoev the trim to get to the retaining screws holding the grab handle.
