Is there any way in ascertaining national dealers customer care score held by SUK?, if so this would be a great idea don't we think?,I've just had an awful experience and too be honest I'm of too the doctors blood pressure has gone through the roof, the dealer was very unhappy that this will effect his care score with SUKemoticon-0112-wondering.gif

Overcharged then complained,he then threw me out of dealership with" never come here again you or your cars are welcome" that's what I call customer service, I've posted in fabia 2 forum , thought all the crazies were locked up !

Not sure if it applies to all dealers but in my local one I always see questionnaires you can fill out. All the questions are on how you feel the dealer dealt with you etc. Not sure if they are kept in house or are posted to SUK. There's nothing on the site is there?

Well I did the online one from skoda , and my dealer was not impressed at all , I did explain that's what's it's for a review of my experience if you can't understand that your missing the customer service pledge! Customers always right if your taking there money !, not happy with my rebuff at all ! , I'm going to use this new dealer for a while then decide on my next move, BMW or MERC

Don't expect good customer service from them they will think YOU are the one to be privilidged in dealing with them. VW would fall into that mould too.

I'm not sure if it brand specific. E.g Volvo dealer where I purchased my car was appalling however the servicing dealer has been good.

Was the v50 I was looking at emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Know this is way OT but if I was looking at those sorts of cars I'd be seriously considering a Jag. The XF looks really purposeful and interiors are spot on too.

I hear this a lot and I was apprehensive about using a BMW main dealer to service my car. However, I gave them a chance and was really impressed by the whole experience - they certainly know how to do customer service and even the bill wasn't that much :D I'll definitely be using them again next time...

I'm going to look at the xf 2 litre

Never had a problem with my Skoda dealers but they have been Skoda for a long time well over 25 years anyway.

Mine is the 2009 V50 2.od 138bhp. The PSA 4cyl engine. I had a loan of an S40 D3 this week which is now the equivalent but a Volvo 5cyl 150bhp(or 163?) engine. This is a world apart from mine. MPG, engine willingness and gearbox operation are far superior to mine. S40 has a daft boot opening though.

+1.

And with MINI/BMW, you can do an online after-service review which goes on the dealer's website for 90 days. I like that.

Volvo service was good but the prices made me feel a bit ill

Lloyd Volvo in Carlisle have always serviced my car and warranty work. They pick up the car from my office and leave me a loan car. Service intervals are 12500m car now 2.5 yr old and 50k. Each service has been around £220-250.

Ouch! How much of that was labour?

Chris

No idea. I didn't think that too bad. But have always ran old cars and used backstreet garages in the past so nothing really to compare it too. The pick up drop off service is worth something to me as the office is 30m from the dealer.
